My Story As an aspiring educator, I strive to create relationships with students that will last a lifetime. Growing up in Wisconsin, a strong work ethic and empathetic demeanor were at the core of moral structures. Seeking adventure, the last frontier was seemed like the best place to be. Becoming a guide in 2006 on Kodiak Island was a defining point in my life. It has reinforced my great love for the outdoors and helping people to achieve a goal or a dream in their life.
While in my undergrad at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point I met my future wife Chelsea. We have been together for six years and share many of the same passions and morals in life. The fact that she is a teacher probably comes as no surprise. She inspires me everyday to be the best that I can be. Together we enjoy Alaska as much as possible by fishing, hiking, camping or playing hockey. We have a yellow lab named Jazz and she is like a child to us. Life is so good it scares me sometimes. |
